Asia Muhammad, Founder & President of Vertical Scholars, has a passion for preparing youth for successful futures. She spent five years as an intern counselor with Detroit Public Schools through Wayne State University’s HEOC program, supporting student safety, college funding, and positive learning experiences. Through her current business, Asia saw adults facing financial challenges due to a lack of financial education. This inspired Vertical Scholars—to teach youth financial literacy, leadership, life skills, confidence, and preparation for life beyond the classroom.
